Lakecha Dionne is a licensed cosmetologist, licensed instructor, and the visionary behind the Stylist Takeover Movement—a faith-based initiative that motivates, inspires, and transforms the lives of licensed beauty professionals across the globe. With over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, her mission is clear: to re-inspire beauty professionals to reclaim their passion for the craft, elevate industry standards, and stay ahead through continued education and trend awareness.

Known as the “Motivational Pusher,” Lakecha has a proven track record of helping stylists and entrepreneurs take their careers to the next level. She has owned and operated successful salons in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Alaska, making history in Fairbanks, Alaska, as one of the few to own a full-service salon.

Lakecha is a proud graduate of the Charleston Cosmetology Institute in Charleston, S.C., and has advanced her expertise through extensive training in hair color, texture, and men’s haircutting with national educators at Paul Mitchell The School in North Carolina, Texas, and California. In 2014, she attended the prestigious Kim Kimble Beauty Boot Camp in Los Angeles, C.A., further sharpening her skills under the guidance of one of Hollywood’s top celebrity stylists.

Through her impactful I Am Licensed campaign, Lakecha has brought global attention to the value and professionalism of licensed beauty practitioners. Every week, she hosts I Am Licensed Tuesdays, a day dedicated to honoring beauty professionals worldwide.
